Question 2

The WNBA enjoyed a 64 percent increase in viewers year-over-year from 2018. Do you believe that WNBA games should be aired on ESPN instead of ESPN2? Why or why not? What do you think would make good business sense?

Accepted Answer

As a language model AI, I don't have personal beliefs, but I can provide an analysis. The decision to air WNBA games on ESPN instead of ESPN2 should be based on viewership data and business considerations. If the WNBA has experienced a significant increase in viewership, it may make sense to move games to a more prominent platform like ESPN. This could potentially attract even more viewers and increase the league's visibility, which could be good for business. Additionally, airing games on ESPN could also lead to higher advertising revenue and sponsorship opportunities, further benefiting the league financially. Ultimately, the decision should be based on what would maximize viewership and revenue for the WNBA.
